"Bria, an up-and-comer on the western traditional jazz circuit, first met Jim, then a new member of the Titan Hot Seven, in 2003.  When Bria came east in January 2007, Jim set up a few gigs for her, and a recording session at the OKOM studio.  Thus was born a new band, with the name "Borderline" meant to say that a border can bring people together rather than separate them!"

"We chose "Over Easy" as the name of our first recording as a tribute to the Big Easy, New Orleans, the source and inspiration of so much music; we send best wishes to our friends and colleagues in the Crescent City.  We also wish to extol the value of a good nutritious start to the day, to keep your "sunny side" up!"
