Williams Reunion Jazz Band at DBMS's Opening of the Bay, Duxbury MA.
This band was born on New England college campuses in the 1950’s when Dixieland was alive and well and “runnin’ wild”. Seven musicians of that era have survived - together - and now thrive, playing the music they have cherished - the music of Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Bix Beiderbecke and Hoagie Carmichael. The music of Classic American Jazz.

On Friday, May 24, the schooner Thomas E. Lannon will sail into Duxbury Bay for the 16th Annual Opening of the Bay Celebration, DBMS Duxbury Bay Maritime School’s biggest event and fundraiser of the year.
Join the fun on Friday evening from 6:30-11:30 for the Dockside Reception. This gala event will feature live music 6:30-8:30pm by the Williams Reunion Jazz Band followed by Dale and the Duds for dancing under the stars, An Island Creek Oysters raw bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres by the Silent Chef, Silent Auction and cash bar. tickets are available online here or by mail with this order form.
