"It had never occurred to me to produce a CD.  I was just happy to be part of a successful band and felt privileged to work with musicians who played for the love of music, "got high" on riffs and tags and who sacrificed much, including family time and at times their own health, in order to perform.

I still wasn't convinced until I thought about the end product, a culmination of ideas, rehearsals and an opportunity to thank musically, those musicians who said, "Call me again, this was a great gig with the Squirrels".  As a result, our core "Band of Squirrels" increased in number and it seemed only fitting that each would be represented on "our CD".  Furthermore, when asked, Bob MacInnis said simply, "It is the next step".  He had no idea that it would be "our" next step together.

Performing with the Squirrels is one thing...personal advisor and sounding board is another.  Now, after many rehearsals (shrimp and chocolate chip cookies), studio time (tuna fish) and  aah yes, a bit of editing, followed by hours spent arranging for more sensory stimulation (antique cars - my other passion) to compliment the "Sound of Jass", Squirrels At The Jazz Band Ball is a reality."
