always good, but this night they were particularly great!
Jeff picked some fine tunes, Begin the Beguine was awesome!
Richie played high-speed boogie-woogie, and the band responded.
Dave Bragdon is a sophisticated drummer, a minimalist, his timing
is precise. (Betty would know, she was a drummer.)
They love to swing, and played with ardor. It was a
fantastic evening.
