It was joyful noise December 15th at the Sherborn Inn with the wails, runs, and rhythm
of Jimmy Mazzy, John Clark, Jeff Hughes and Ida Lupino. Their version of
I'll Be Home For Christmas brought a tear to my eye, finger snapping
and some toe tapping.
The best Dixieland I've heard since the Dukes Of. Jeff Stout is professor at Boston's Berklee College and plays it all convincingly, from Horn of
Plenty to a presto Cherokee. It really is a great take.
